I was so excited to hear about these beads that can rate the intensity of UV rays.

I’m already gearing up for the summer, and that means new sunscreen, new swimsuits, and new beach accessories. I was excited to find these beads which go from white to a deep color depending on the UV intensity they’re exposed to. I can definitely see the usefulness of knowing how strong the UV rating is outside to help you prepare for a brilliant summer day. While I prefer to put on a healthy amount of sunscreen on regardless of an UV rating, I still like the notion of knowing how much UV I’m being exposed to.

Not knowing how the bikini they sell may fit, I think that getting the beads alone is probably a better option. Stringing some of the beads onto string bikinis should be especially easy (Oh Gizmo! also alluded to this option). I may make some keychains for friends so they know when they go out everyday.
