Groom Mate Platinum XL Nose Hair Trimmer

So I guess it happens to the best of us. We wake up one morning, look in the mirror and realize in horror that we have to trim our nose hair!!!!!!

I always thought nose hair trimmers were for old people and weirdoes. How on earth could someone have so much nose hair that it warranted a dedicated trimming machine? Well, about a month ago, I realized that I had a stray hair sticking out my nose. I know, ewww! I was so grossed out, but I couldn’t stand the thought of sticking a pair of scissors up there. I had to find something quick. After a bit of searching around on Amazon, I found this baby: the Groom Mate Platinum XL Noise Hair Trimmer. Made in the USA, this stainless steel trimmer looks way cooler than it ought to. Its build quality is excellent, and despite its diminutive size has a nice hefty feel to it.

The device might leave some people dumbfounded, as it left me utterly confused at first. There is no motor, no batteries, nothing complicated at all. It is just a very sharp blade, protected by little metal “fingers”. All you do is hold the upper half, and rotate the bottom half. This spins the blade which trims the hair. It comes in a clear plastic tube for storage, and has a lifetime guarantee.

All in all, I’m ecstatic with the purchase. It has done an excellent job keeping my nose hairs in check. The process is quick, simple, and painless. So, if any of you guys (or girls) out there are in need of some nose hair trimming, but don’t feel like sticking some huge motorized contraption or some scary scissors up your nose, I’d give this little guy a try.

Cool product.

I have used one of the battery operated ones from Sharper Image a while back, and it died by the time I had to change the batteries.

This one is cool, hand operated and small.

I’d love to see a review of the other model, “Rotary Nose Clipper”.
From the picture it looks like it would be easier to use.
